Chemical Reaction Engineering

Heat Transfer

Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams

IntermediateWhat the interviewer is looking for: The candidate should mention safety valves, rupture discs, interlocks, emergency shutdowns, and proper instrumentation for critical parameters. Overlooking these critical safety elements is a significant red flag.
What are the key components typically found on a Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)?

Thermodynamics
